What is cellstory liquid micro-needling?
Cellstory liquid micro-needling is a Korean brand that focuses on maximum skin rejuvenation with very little downtime. It can be used on most skin types and colours. It is an 8 step advanced skin treatment that will reduce lines and signs of ageing. It will help reduce pigmentation and will help to manage acne and signs of scarring.
It utilises a patented technology called Microspear®. It promotes skin regeneration by causing controlled trauma to the skin, stimulating the body’s natural wound healing response. What makes it unique is that it delivers active ingredients such as Stem Cell Extracts, Growth Factors, Antioxidants, Amino Acids, and Hydrating Ingredients deep into the layers of the skin. These ingredients work synergistically together and are renowned for their regenerative properties. These extracts are crucial for boosting the production of essential skin components such as collagen and elastin, strengthening the skin’s natural barrier, improving moisture retention, and enhancing overall skin health.

How does Cellstory work?
Cellstory is an 8 step treatment, the cellstory ampule is the main part of the treatment, it is our hero product. It is packed with 50,000 microscopic microspears, yellow calming complex and growth factors. It is applied to the face and gently pushed into the skin. These microspears remain in the skin, in the lower epidermal level for 72 hours. The skin will then naturally exfoliate them out without you even noticing. This gentle, controlled trauma, supported by ingredients that help your skin to repair and heal is what leads to the most sophisticated form of skin rejuvenation.
How many treatments will I need + is there downtime?
The magic number is usually 4 treatments. That being said, it will vary depending on your individual skin and what we are treating. We may recommend 4 together or we may recommend integrating Cellstory liquid micro-needling into your existing skin treatment program alongside other treatments.
Your skin can feel slightly pink, spikey or a little uncomfortable for approximately 2 days after treatment. We wouldn’t advise wearing make up or exercising during this time but you will be able to go about your daily business no problem at all.
